Island 2000 Trust Group In their own words: "Island 2000 exists to explore and utilize every element of the Isle of Wight’s cultural and environmental
distinctiveness. That’s what we do... but what does it mean? It means that we Celebrate Islandness!" The Big Green Picnic The Isle of Wight Council organises this event every year. It is "a community-based event to encourage individuals of all ages and families to do their bit to create Eco Island"
